Legendary Myst, BOV x 4 - Seal Sr. Doe, BOV x 4

Myst came to us from Legendary Farms, http://www.legendaryminis.com/, & I couldn't be happier with this girl. She has a nice solid body & bone. Her mane and bibb are so thick it's crazy. The pictures don't do her justice. She is a very nice example of the seal coloring even in our desert heat. I think I need to do an outside photo shoot to show this girl off correctly. I can't wait to get some babies from her.

The first time we showed her she took the show & the judges loved her. They said: "good headset & hip, nice body, great mane, nice rollback, great ears." The boys didn't have a chance against her & I had some very promising bucks in there too.

Currently we have tried her with Ponyboy. Their bodies & mane's should compliment each other really well. Hopefully that combination will produce some nice Siamese Sables. If you are interested in one of her babies please feel free to email me @ addknitter@hotmail.com

Cottonwood's Olive Sable Point Sr Doe - Mossy Possum Oliver x Cottonwood's Delilah

Olive is our best brood doe. She is gorgeous and I would love to show her, but she has a really bad attitude. She is pretty large for a lionhead anyway, so would probably be overweight for showing (she is currently 4 lbs).

Each litter she has is around 6, and even 7 this last time. She's a great mom and if you respect her boundries she is no problem. Olive was meant to be a mom and she really enjoys having her kits with her and taking care of them. I have great respect for this rabbit's mothering skills since there are many who just don't have them.

Olive will have a place with us forever & she has definitely stolen my heart. Another skill of Olive's is modeling. This girl can't take a bad picture. I just love photographing her as she poses and poses and poses. Maybe she's a diva? She probably could have been named Angelina.

One day Mackenzie and I were outside working with some juniors on posing. Olive was out in the playpen. Mackenzie asked me to get a senior and show her a good example of a pose. I looked over and there was Olive posing in the playpen. I wish I had the camera ready! She's such a ham.

Cottonwood Corner has a nice doe, Baby Olive, that is Olive's daughter & looks just like her, but without the attitude. Check her out on their page: http://www.freewebs.com/cottonwoodcornerrabbitry/mydoes.htm

Olive and Baby Olive coincidentally kindled on the same day. Our babies from her are gorgeous, so I'm sure Baby Olive's are too. I can't wait to see pictures.

Olive's current litter with Mossy Possum Ponyboy is turning out awesome. She had 4, all does. Here are their pictures:

RGM & Mom's Sweet Pea - Siamese Sable Junior Doe (BOB x 2, BOV x 2, BOSV) Cottonwood's Olive x Legendary Hot Shot

She's another out of this litter who is now coming into their own as a senior. She does very well competing against her brother and holds her own against others in her variety. She got second place at the Fresno show between Dana Cole's 1st & 2nd place winners from Nationals. & then 1st at the San Bernardino show. Her body has really filled out and now she's getting comments from the judges that she has an awesome body.

Some of these pics are old & show her in the weanling cage she shared with a Harlequin doe for a long time.  Once she's done on the show tables we should get some really nice babies out of her and the right buck. We will be breeding her to a really nice Seal buck very soon. She is really ready to become a mommy and if she's anything like Olive she'll be a really good mom.

RGM & Mom's Diamond, BOV x 4 - REW Jr Doe - SBL's Fluffy x Mossy Possum's Ponyboy

This girl is just fantastic! She is still a little fluffy but has gotten pretty clean. She poses naturally & will be entered in Nationals. She also has a super body like her daddy. She has a wonderfull silky & full mane.

RGM & Mom's Bear Sable Point Jr Doe - Cottonwood's Olive x Mossy Possum's Ponyboy

This girl is just adorable! Right now she is a total fluff ball, but I can see her starting to get her break.

She has a wonderfull silky & full mane.

I can't wait to start showing her. Her body is nice & solid. She is definitely my favorite out of this litter.

Here is the profile shot. Maybe she should be on America's Next Top Model.

Hillsong's Beauty - Blue Senior Doe

I don't know what happened to Beauty's picture description, but I'll put it back up soon.

For now enjoy a link to a couple of her offspring:

RGM & Mom's Fran Fine Black Jr. Doe - Myryan's Desert Blue's (Blue tort) x Cottonwood's Twilight (Black)

Twilight's babies always surprise me. They go along for a while, looking like cute little babies, but not super special, then about 10 weeks they pop out with this huge mane overnight. Mackenzie & I are huge fans of the show "The Nanny." This girl has the huge black hair that reminds us of Fran. Her littermate is a cute blue tort buck who looks just like his daddy & we named him Maxwell Sheffield. The pictures don't do these two justice, they have cute little clean ears, with big manes & are actually more upright than the pictures show. I was in a hurry & I think I made them nervous. The lighting is very poor as well.

I think that lady over there is up to something. Don't trust her!
