RGM & Mom Family Rabbitry & Grandpa too!

We specialize in wool breed rabbits!

RGM & Mom's Brutus, BOV x 3 & BOSV x 2, Siamese Sable Senior buck - For Sale $60.

Dam: Cottonwood's Olive x Sire: Legendary Hot Shot.

I went back and forth on this guy because every time we show him and his brother (littermate Popeye) the judges seem to flip flop on which one they like best. Brutus has a cleaner look and is a bit smaller than Popeye. He's a handsome little guy & I really like his senior look. He has a little bit of an attitude, but makes a wonderful show rabbit especially since he has maintained a full main evan as a senior & is nice & clean on the backside.

He will stay on our show team until he goes to someone else.

Myryan's Desert Blues - Blue Tort Sr. Buck - BOV x 8

We have been showing him for the last few weeks now and he gets BOV every time. As you can see between the pictures Myryan took of him right before he left PA he lost a good portion of his mane on his trip across the country. He is starting to get it back now and I can't wait to show him with a full mane. He's doing so well for us I'm really glad we got him. He's also been bred to two of our does: Twilight and Beauty. He was a really good stud from the first try, none of this shy little junior buck stuff for him. The only thing I don't like about desert is that he gets really distracted when I try to take a picture of him and he won't stand still or pose for the pictures. The two below were the best of several pictures, but by no means a good representation of this awesome little buck.

BOV - NC State Convention before we got him

BOV - San Bernardino x 2    06-13-09

NC State Convention 09: Show B_BOV

At the NC State Convention, the judge was going to award Desert BOS until he realized that it would make both the winners (BOB and BOS) be bucks! So poor Desert had to settle for keeping his BOV. ; )

Still it was quite a compliment for this young buck for his first time on the show tables to be considered for BOS.

Legenday Myst, BOV x 4 - Seal Sr Doe - Legenday Curly x Legendary Victory

Myst came to us from Legendary Farms, http://www.legendaryminis.com/, & I couldn't be happier with this girl. She has a nice solid body & bone. Her mane and bibb are so thick it's crazy. The pictures don't do her justice.

The first time we showed her she took the show & the judges loved her. They said: "good headset & hip, nice body, great mane, nice rollback, great ears." The boys didn't have a chance against her & I had some very promising bucks in there too.

I got her for babies, because she has so much to bring to our lines, but couldn't resist putting her on our show team until that happens.

RGM & Mom's Popeye Siamese Sable Senior Buck - Legendary Hot Shot x Cottonwood's Olive

Popeye is from the Olive x Hot Shot litter above. He's got a HUGE mane and has really nice bone. He got BOB at his first show out in Tulare. Unfortunately for him we had some time constraints and couldn't make it to a bunch of shows since he's been old enough to go. However, his show career has started and he's doing very well. We are currently working on posing with him & he does really well.

He's really coming into his own now that he's a senior. His mane is in transition for texture, but he still looks great. It's really beautiful when the wind picks up his mane and blows it like a little lion. He has the sweetest personality to boot.

Popeye won BOSV at the Lionhead Regional Specialty Show - WCC Monterey April 2009! The Chow Mane doe that was BOV also ended up winning BOB so hats off to Popeye, especially since the SS group was pretty big and included rabbits from Cole's Lionheads, Chow Mane, Lionheads Haven, etc.

BOSV & almost BOS at Fresno show 06-06-09 x 2.

It doesn't look like it but he does have a face in there somewhere!! He's a little less wooly in the face since the summer heat, but still has a really nice Senior mane. I will take better pictures when he recovers from the "summer uglies."
